Arid Planet

So here's my newest space scene that i've been working on all week. I mainly worked on it yesterday because I had some spare time and then just finished it up today.

So this time I used some new techniques. Like I made the planet in a different way and I incorporated a fractal to be dust clouds coming from the planet I guess. I'm not exactly sure what it's called but i've seen people use it before in their space art. Also, I don't know why but this space scene reminded me a little of the planet Reach from Halo: Reach. Not sure if it reminds anyone else of that also.

And as always, fractals, space scene, space dust were all made by me. But for the planet texture I used a couple of images from [link] If you are into making planets then i suggest going to that site because getting satellite images of Earth and then mixing them together makes a really cool and realistic planet texture.

I'll also will add a critique to this so I can get some feedback on some of the new things I did.

Other then that I hope you enjoyed this space scene. It makes a great background for your computer (i'm using it as my background right now )
